A test pressing can be commissioned in order to eliminate potential flaws prior to the pressing of the vinyl, and also to reflect the sound quality. From a technical viewpoint, test pressings are the first vinyls after foil cutting and the creation of the matrices. The so called “finishes”, i.e. the final vinyls, are made with the same tools than the testings. The production of a test pressing takes about 3 weeks.
